O V Europa is a registered non-profit association that was set up in 2006 in response to various volunteer groups (WWOOF, SE7EN, HelpX, Workaway, Ecoteer and others) which had recognised the need for an insurance that would provide protection for both volunteers and their hosts.
The association was formed and first registered in Italy in 2006. In October 2011 the Association was transferred to the United Kingdom and is now an incorporated not for profit association - registration no. 9072352.
As a non-profit association OVEuropa benefits by being able to acquire insurance cover for its members at group rates. These rates are passed straight on to our members in the form of lower cost insurance cover.
OVEuropa provides three insurance plans.
