Multi risk policy conditions for voluntary collaborators in respect of Italian Law 266/91

The following is a description of the essential characteristics of the insurance cover provided by the insurance company in tutelage of Third party civil liabilities and compensation for invalidity for members of non profit Associations (conforming to Italian Law 266/91).

Description of risk
In conformity with the stipulations in the Voluntary Associations charter the volunteers are insured against the inherent risks involved in their activity as volunteers providing that they are enrolled as members in the Association. Activities other than those prescribed in the Associations charter are also covered on the condition that they are not regular activities but occasionally carried out.

Civil Liabilities towards third parties:
Compensation for damage involuntarily caused to third parties, for death, for personal injury and damage to property and effects as a result of an accident.
Third party Civil Liability limit : 1.500.000.oo euro

Accidents:
Compensation for accidents that the insured may suffer whilst carrying out the activities for which the policy is issued whilst on a wwoof hosts property.
Compensation for accidents that the insured may suffer:
In case of death : 25.000.oo euro
In case of permanent disability : Up to 50.000.oo euro
Reimbursement for medical expenses : up to 2000.oo euro
An accident is considered to be a violent external event caused by chance which results in physical damage that can be objectively ascertained which causes death, permanent or temporary inability.

Illness:
Up to 2000.oo euro for medical expenses, including outpatients and day hospital.
This includes up to 500,oo euro for emergency dental treatment.

Principal characteristics of the policy: Third Party Civil Liabilities
Art. 22.a Fire: cover is extended to objects and possessions of the insured as well as objects and possessions left with the insured for safekeeping.
For damage caused by fire the maximum payment is limited to 100.000.oo euro.
Art. 22.b The policy covers buildings wherein the described activities take place.
Art. 22.c The policy covers areas used for parking vehicles, including theft.
Art. 22.d Damage to items being delivered, looked after, or kept for any reason is limited to a maximum of 100.000.oo euro per claim.
Art. 22.e Damage to items present by necessity of the activity being carried out is limited to a maximum of 100.000.oo euro per claim.
Art. 22.f Interruption or suspension of the activity as a result of the accident covered by the policy is limited to a maximum of 100.000.oo euro per claim.
Art. 22.g Teaching, training, sporting, recreational and social activities, including damage to equipment, furniture and buildings where the activity takes place.
Art. 22.h With regard to health services the insurance covers third party liability ascribable to the insured with regard to costs incurred by health services as long as said services are provided by a legally recognised and authorised service.
Art. 22.i Use of domestic appliances, machines and machinery, electric and electronic etc.
Art. 22.j Animals. The cover provided under third party liability for possessions covers ownership and/or use of animals, including the risks involved in transporting them, including road vehicles but excluding damage to the vehicles and damage the vehicles may cause during use.
Art. 22.k Supplying food and drinks. The cover provided under third party liability ascribable to the insured covers claims resulting from the supplying of food and drinks, including poisoning and intoxication.
Art. 22.l Minors. The cover provided under third party liability ascribable to the insured covers claims for damages to third parties by minors in the insureds' care for whom the insured is held responsible in relation to the risks covered by the policy.
Art. 22.m Social security claims under art 14 law 12/61984 n. 22.
Art. 38 Personal civil responsibility in conformity with law 266/91
Art. 39 Personal civil responsibility of members participating in events organised by the association, or in which the association takes part.

Principal characteristics of the policy: Accident
Art. 31.1 In case of death the payment will be made to the designated beneficiaries or the insureds' heirs in equal sums.
Art. 31.2 Permanent invalidity. The payment made will be determined according to the criteria and values in the permanent disability percentage table attached. Note 3% exemption on all permanent invalidity claims.
Art. 31.3 Medical expenses, any and all medical expenses up to the contracts limit.
Art. 32 Guaranteed extensions. Flying risks, tropical illnesses, repatriation of coffin, cosmetic surgery as a result of injury damage.
Art. 37 Exoneration from declaring other insurance policies and infirmness, mutilation or physical defects.

Principal characteristics of the policy: Illness
Art. 42 Validity of cover
- for accidents the cover is valid from the moment the insured receives confirmation of being a member of the association.
- for illness the cover is valid from the moment the insured receives confirmation of being a member of the association.
Art. 43 Guaranteed extensions.
Contagious illnesses, the cover is extended to contagious illnesses the insured may have contracted.
Art. 44 Exoneration from declaring other insurance policies and infirmness, mutilation or physical defects.

This contract is valid for all the Associations members.
The Association is obliged to keep a normal register of members with name, legal residence, age, sex, place and date of birth. The Association is obliged to keep this register up to date.
